Bought this kit with the EZ Start CDI for my 2020 SSR 170TX. Bike used to take 20-30 kicks to start (easier if you cleaned off the plug before every start)...now its starts up in 1-2 kicks! Haven't had any noticeable power loss. This Ignition system rocks!! Well worth the money, wish I had tried it sooner! One thing to note is that the CDI does not come with any sort of bracket to fix it to the machine. I ended up designing my own bracket and 3D printing it. Now the CDI is bolted up against the frame like the previous one.

Changed from inner rotor kit to this setup. Inner rotor kit revs to the moon but its hard to start, with this kit it'll start up on the very first kick!!!! I still have good throttle response, and the motor still pulls strong. Defiinately worth the money.

This is a great electrical system! No hassles spark at very low speed-all I can say is one of the best ad on features you can get for your engine!
An ignition system is so important-I'm getting older :-) I should say I am old I am when I am riding the last thing I need to go wrong is no spark. I think this ignition system which sparked in the worst conditions a Rider could get into-freezing temperatures wet conditions high humidity nothing would bother this ignition.
The magnets are integrated right into the flywheel and very well made, I'm very impressed with this ignition system.

I bought this kit for my yx160 to replace the origional IRK that was a constant headache. After installation i went for a test ride and im very happy with the performace. The bike no longer stutters at high rpm and starting the bike seems a lott easier too even in cold weather . The harness seems to be great quaity and everything was the perfect length it was a complete plug and play installation. Another great advantage of this kit is the fact that if you ever want to run a headlight its ready to go with plenty of voltage..
