TRC - EZ Start High Performance CDI

Works as advertised. Installed on my Lifan 140 and it does prevent kickback. It's a bit larger than the standard 5 pin CDI so it may not fit in the same place as the original unit, and the plugs make it even larger.

Ordered this for my Piranha ZR140.
I cannot believe how much easier it starts and it has not kicked back while starting since install. Very pleased! Now my GF will be able successfully start it as well.

Purchased this for my 2021 SSR125 came within 2-3 days. Everything plugged right in. When installing I had to put the TRC CDI on the opposite side of the tab the rubber boot slides on to so now it sits in between the gas tank and the tab to allow better seat clearance. The bike starts way easier now and more consistent has a better idle and low rpm pickup but not a huge increase in HP. The 2 white jumper wires with bullet connectors if you connect 2 wires to them and and hook up a standard on/off 2 prong switch you can adjust the rev limiter with the tiny brass screw when switch is on. This feature is very nice and a wanted one on pitbikes great for launching, sound cool and an overall great product. Very satisfied.

Huge improvement in starting for my son’s SSR140. Also cleared up a midrange bog. Well worth the money.

This was a great investment. Eased starting a lot, especially for my 11 year old. You still MUST know and follow the starting drill for these bikes (outlined on this website) but it’s a huge improvement. It also seems to have smoothed out the midrange flat spot. Excellent bit of gear.

I bought this for my yx160 with 28mm oko carb and it starts first kick every time!

Best money spent! I have a piranha 160 in ATC 70. It kicked back on me almost every time. Plug and play, starts right up now, no kick back.

This cdi is well worth the money everything worked has it should no kick back motor runs smoother and rev limiter works perfect I can tell a big differnce over all

Exactly what you need for the yx140 motor. I went through a few "blue" cdi's and almost gave up on this motor. Put it on and the motor fired up first kick on my crf50. Awesome!!

Fixed starting issues instantly.

This EZ Start CDI completely fixed the kickback problem with my Piranha 140cc engine. It starts easy with no kickback now so I don't have to worry about breaking the kick starter gear any more.

Got tired of the Piranha 140 kicking back like a pissed off mule. Installed this CDI and I am impressed at the difference it made. I no longer fear the kick starter trying to explode through the bottom of my foot anymore. No need to use steel toed boots anymore. Wish I bought one sooner!!! Thanks again Tbolt!

I bought this for my ssr140tr and wow did it make a difference! Starts first kick every time. Not exactly sure if the power difference was felt but feels like the motor revs up quicker awesome part for the money thanks tbolt!
